Chit Chat .....

Hello

Hello

Hello!

Gosh it's been a while hasn't it?
I've been trying to write this post for days
and days and days and days .....

I'm not sure where 'Balance' has gone
but It's obviously VERY far away!
(please come back ..... I miss you)

Life has been (& still is) on the tricky side here
stressful things that I don't want to chat about
I just want to bury my head in the sand to be honest!

On the up~side
my lovely boy is feeling much better after his tonsillectomy
boy that's a horrid opp.
We were not prepared.
We had a few scary moments
with panic ridden phone calls to the hospital
and sitting up with him nearly all of one night.
But that is all behind us now
THANK GOODNESS!

and breathe .....

I feel SO weary
like I could crawl under the duvet and not wake up for a month.

I have had a little bit of exciting news though
I was asked to do a small interview for Inside Crochet magazine

It's in the current issue ~63
A little bit about me
about crochet
about friends
about my inspiration
about pears!

In other exciting news ..... I have a new mug!
Oh Yes Indeedy
the one with the ladybirds on
Ahhhh I love it!
and I don't even feel too naughty as this one is for charity
It's to raise funds for East Anglia's children's hospices.

It's almost time to springify my mug cubby
I had a teeny whiff of spring yesterday
~ Oh please hurry now, its time it's time ~

On that note .....
can you believe it's almost the end of February?
where has it gone???

Well I REALLY hope to be back very soon
(I have some super duper exciting pear related news to share)

 Happy weekend my lovelies

BIG love
x Jooles x

  10. What a terrible time, and that's why you are so tired. You need rest and treats! The article is so exciting you must be so proud and it's lovely to get another photo of the pears. I don't think someone's beautiful craft work has ever made me smile like they do. Thank you. Take care XXX

  12. Im new to your blog, sorry to hear your little one was not well. Its hard on them and you and you can start feeling a little sleep deprived. Glad all is well now. I'm also happy your work made it into a magazine, you so deserve to be there your little pear people are cute. Cannot say the same for the ladybird mug I have a little phobia to ladybirds,, have done since a child. Ifreak out if I see one and les if I see a spider. Weird hey x

  14. Grrrrrr I have a new computer, and as lovely as it is, I cannot get to grips with all the updated versions of everything. I wrote a whole big long spiel and then it wouldn't post it on here and kept logging me out. I like what I know, it's going to take a while!

I have just been catching up on your last few posts. For some reason I seem to have missed them. I have no idea why! I just thought you were taking a little time out from blogland!

Oh my word, looks like you have had a time of it. I hope your lad has made a speedy recovery Jooles. Gosh I cannot imagine the worry. No wonder you are feeling weary. Go and sofa dive and rest your weary self for a bit. We all need it at times.

Ooooh how lovely to be in the magazine. Your Pear and friends are gorgeous. They look totally addictive.

Have a super weekend my lovely and rest up.

  20. In a magazine!? Very cool. And with your cute little pears none-the-less! Your mug collection is amazing - are they all Emma B? I really like the way you display them. I wonder if my hubby could rig one up for me if I show him you picture here? :)
